The special care unit at East Surrey Hospital

Our gorgeous little boy Asa, decided to arrive 8 weeks early on Christmas Eve 2022. As he spent 27 days in the neonatal unit, I am walking 27 miles in July to raise money for the amazing work and support these special people provide. We were so lucky to have this support, to help us in our time of need that I wanted to do my part in giving something back. Thank you to all the love and support you continue to give 😍❤️💙

The support we received on every level was outstanding, you took such great care of Summer when she was born, until the day we took her home. Nothing can prepare you for the shock of a 30 week baby >3lbs, but we couldn't have done it without you

We are walking to show our support for all those families who have experienced neonatal care in all its many forms. Whether you are in the midst of your journey, looking back over an experience or anticipating one, every step we take for Bliss Little Heroes will be in recognition of you.

For some, your neonatal journeys must have felt like forever. For others, it was just a fleeting visit. However long or short, we are taking part in Bliss Little Heroes to celebrate you, our little heroes. Let us give back to Bliss, who gave so much support at a time when it was desperately needed.

Bliss and NHS staff

I wanted to thank all the NHS and Bliss staff for supporting us on our neonatal journey, the care and kindness has been second to none and you have made an incredibly tough time that bit easier, you're all heroes in my opinion! We will be walking together for Bliss Little Heroes 2023 to show our thanks to those that were there for us!
